Design and Test of Systems-on-a-Chip

Druckansicht

Course Description:

Information technology is penetrating in all areas of living as small embedded devices, because these devices are

  • available at a very low price
  • consume low power during operation
  • are small and light weight.

This is possible, since further integration of silicon chips allows us to build complete systems on a single chip, containing digital, analog and very soon electromechanical parts. The digital part of the system implements the intelligence of the devices, the analog part the communication skills (wireless) and the electromechanical part the sensors and actors. In this course, we will discuss the digital and analog part of these devices, including design methodologies, standards and test problems.
